Mein Server ist kaputt. Definitiv physikalisch kaputt. Ich hab mich durch die Strato-Warteschleife gequält letzte Woche Montag, seitdem kann ich „Mercy“ von Duffy einfach nicht mehr hören. Das waren bestimmt 10 Euro, die ich da vertelefoniert habe.
Der Techniker war nett. Er bat mich den Server in den Rescue-Modus zu booten und würde dann einen Hardwaretest anschubsen.
Gemacht, und dann zur Arbeit. Martin hat dann alle paar Stunden mein Postfach kontrolliert, ob da eine Mail vom Support drin liegt.
2 Tage später kam dann die Mail. Es wurde kein Hardwareschaden gefunden, aber man würde aus Kulanz die Hardware tauschen.
Als ich am Freitag nach Hause kam, hab ich gleich den Button im Kundeninterface geklickt, um den Tausch auszulösen. Laut Webseite sollte das dann innerhalb von 48h über die Bühne gegangen sein.
Tja, was soll ich sagen? Heute ist Dienstag, es ist immer noch keine Hardware getauscht worden. Trotz der defekten Festplatte, die smartctl mir bescheinigt, habe ich den Server wieder hochgefahren, damit zumindest meine Kunden ihre Emails abholen können.

Eine Mail an den Support übers Kundeninterface blieb bis jetzt unbeantwortet..
Aber ich will ja auch keinen wecken, wer bin ich denn schon..nur ein zahlender Kunde..
Wenn ich bis morgen keine Antwort habe, rappelts aber im Karton. Versprochen. Ich habe nur diese Woche Urlaub und noch mehr zu tun, als zuhause zu sitzen und darauf zu warten, daß mein Bouncer auspingt.
